Kristen is an artist who was born in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.  Currently residing in the Sutherland Shire, Sydney, Australia, Kristen's passion for art has always been present throughout her life.

As a child, she discovered her love for art and creating drawings of the Bird of Paradise and hibiscus flowers took her back to her cherished years growing up in Papua New Guinea.

However, her passion doesn't stop at capturing the beauty of nature on paper.  Another one of her greatest passions lies in drawing sprintcars.  There's something exhilarating about being at the track, watching these powerful machines fly past with incredible speed.  When she's immersed in that environment, she finds herself in her happy place, filled with joy and excitement.

Although she's been creating art in various forms for many years, it wasn't until 2020 that she decided to pursue her passion and enrol in courses to develop a better understanding of the art form and learn new techniques.

Working from her home studio, Kristen primarily works with acrylics to create colourful and vibrant abstract floral and landscape artworks.  Her paintings have a bold and lively style, and they evoke emotions that reflect her deep love and appreciation for nature.

Through her art and her connection to the world of sprintcar racing, she strives to express the diverse range of experiences and inspirations that have helped shape her.  She hopes you enjoy exploring her work and sharing in the emotions that drive her to create.
